This print server kit for CIM embossers is specifically designed for Maxima 8xx series. It includes a Lantronix external device server, a null modem serial cable and a Lantronix installation guide. The external print server allows you to connect, manage and remotely control any device with a serial port. To do so, users only need to connect to Ethernet or the Internet. Using the serial Tunneling method, it encapsulates serial data and transports it through Ethernet. So, it allows you to connect all your equipment to your network.
Also, it can be installed locally using its serial port or remotely using Telnet or a web browser. The installation process is explained in detail in the Lantronix guide that is included in this kit.
