Tactile impression module TIM – Sigma DS3, CR805

The Tactile Impression Module (TIM, or impresser) stamps an image or text onto the card. The image on the matrix can be standard (such as the Entrust "Globe" design) or customized (such as your company logo). This image will appear on the card in relief. It is also possible to make tactile printing in color. The ribbons are available in the following colors: gold, silver, bronze, black and white. This module adds a measure of security that makes counterfeiting very difficult. Therefore, it is ideal for the production of government, service, student and loyalty ID cards. It also allows you to add a security element to access control cards.

This module is compatible with the Entrust Sigma DS3 or CR805 card printer. When the printer also includes the lamination module, tactile printing is done on top of the card's laminate. However, you can install the TIM tactile impression module without the lamination module. In short, this add-on module is an affordable way to add branding and enhance the security of your cards.
