This SMART-BIT ribbon shredder from IDP securely destroys ID card printer ribbons. This machine is compatible with the most popular brands of direct-to-card printer ribbons. It effectively destroys the personal information printed on ribbon panels during ID card production. It does this by twisting the ribbon panels into tiny, unrecognizable particles. IDP's twisted micro-cut technology cuts ribbons into thin, 2.5 mm strips (see image). This makes counterfeiting your cards virtually impossible. Compact and lightweight, the SMART-BIT ribbon shredder fits easily into any office environment. To efficiently dispose of shredded ribbons, place a disposable bag in the output bin. This product is sold separately. Please note: This machine cannot be used to shred laminating ribbons. These ribbons contain adhesive material that can jam in the machine.
