The Matica XID8600 card printer is a high-end retransfer printer with an ultra high resolution of 600dpi in card printing quality. It is the perfect fit for increased security printing demands in ambitious ID card applications, such as national ID programs, drivers licenses and provincial insurance cards. Since most of these projects are requiring the personalization on both sides of the card, all XID8600 models come with a factory built-in card flipper that automatically flips the card during the print cycle. Also, the ultra high resolution of 600dpi allows printing crisp, tiny characters and sophisticated graphical elements. This printer is characterized by its superior print quality and its reliability.
The Matica XID8600 is available as an option with a lamination module. This allows you to add a transparent film on top of the printed cards. This protective film extends the life of your cards by preventing discoloration and protecting them from daily wear and tear. In addition, it is an additional security measure, as it deters card tampering. There are two versions of the ILM module: the ILM-LS module for single-sided lamination and the ILM-DS module for double-sided lamination.
