Description
This Fargo® YMCKI contains 3 color panels (cyan, magenta, and yellow) designed for printing color images and 1 black panel designed for printing texts and barcodes. Plus, it has an inhibitor panel (I) that prevents the retransfer ribbon to affix to specific sections of the card. It is mostly used when printing on cards that have a signature panel. The YMC color panels can only be used on the front side of the card, whereas the black panel (K) and the inhibitor panel (I) can be used on the front or the back side. It can print 500 single-sided cards (all YMCKI panels are on the front side) or 250 dual-sided cards (all YMCKI panels are on both sides). To work properly, this ribbon must be used with the Fargo® retransfer ribbon (FAR-84053 or FAR-84054). These items are sold separately. This ribbon is only compatible with Fargo® HDPii or HDP5000 card printers.
