YMCKT Entrust Ribbon (250 images) – CD800

The YMCKT 535700-001-R010 ribbon is designed for the Entrust (formerly Datacard) CD800 card printer. It contains 5 complete panels: yellow (Y), magenta (M), cyan (C), black (K), and clear (T). The YMC panels allow you to print high-quality images, as they can reproduce all the colors of the spectrum. The black panel allows you to print barcodes, text, and monochrome graphics. Finally, the ribbon has a finishing panel that is added on top of the card. This clear layer prevents discoloration and protects against abrasion. It is important to note that these ribbons are only functional in North America.

This YMCKT 535700-001-R010 ribbon replaces the #535000-002 ribbon. Here is the main information to know about this new model:

• Better communication with the printer thanks to its improved RFID antenna.

• Might require an update of your printer's firmware.

* Note: On one of the ribbon rollers, you will find a radio-frequency antenna called RFID (see picture). This antenna should not be removed as it enables the printer to recognize the type of ribbon installed in the printer's cartridge. If this antenna is removed while loading the ribbon, you will get an error message (e.g. "Printer Ribbon not identified"). This will automatically suspend the printing of all the remaining cards. To avoid this problem, make sure the RFID antenna is securely attached to the ribbon. If you mistakenly removed the antenna, put it back on the correct roller and restart the printer.
