This label/wristband printing kit with a gun reader & bracket is part of the Address12000 product line. It allows you to print 2D barcode data onto thermal wristbands or labels. It includes a 2-inch direct thermal printer and a gun reader with a bracket.
This Address12000 printing kit model DC123T5-268S, contains a wristband/label printer, a gun-style barcode reader, and a bracket. Our experts developed this system to replace the Addressograph printers, as they were discontinued in 2023. Like the Addressograph printers, this kit prints patient data onto thermal wristbands or labels. However, it differs from the Addressograph printers in that it operates from a master barcode that contains the patient's data.
Its operation is very simple:
- The user scans a 2D barcode with the barcode reader.
- The wristband/label printer prints the barcode information onto a thermal wristband or label.
Our team pre-programs each kit to ensure optimal print quality and information printed similarly to that of Addressograph printers. We can also program any kit to work with the new Régie de l’Assurance Maladie du Québec (RAMQ) health insurance cards. It's THE ideal solution for all healthcare facilities because it operates completely autonomously. Therefore, no intervention is required from your information technology (IT) department.
