The CD800™ card printer was discontinued by Entrust in October 2021. The manufacturer has discontinued all CD series and SD series card printers. However, it is still be possible to order supplies for these card printers. In fact, we will continue to offer a large selection of consumables that are compatible with the CD series. Also, we will continue to offer repair service and technical support for these models. Do not hesitate to contact us to place an order or to open a service call.
To replace the SD series, Entrust has developed a new line of card printers: the Sigma series. There are two models that are designed to replace the CD800™: the Sigma DS2 and the Sigma DS3. The Sigma DS2 is a duplex, direct-to-card printer. The Sigma DS3 is similar to the DS2, but has added features such as an optional tactile impression module and a lamination module.
