DESIGN AND FUNCTIONALITIES OF YOUR CARD

  • Would you like to print on both sides of the card? If so, would you like to do it in one pass or two?
  • Would you like to print color or monochrome cards?
  • Will your card be used for visual identification or machine (mechanical or electronic) processing?
  • Will your card be used for access control, electronic payment or will it have other aims?

ENVIRONMENTAL CONCERNS

  • What is the ideal lifespan for your card?
  • How many times a day will your card be used (manipulated, scanned or swiped)?
  • Will your card be housed in a plastic sleeve or will it be carried in wallets and purses?
  • Will your card be exposed to UV rays, humidity or chemicals?

VOLUME AND FLOW OF PRODUCTION

  • Do you wish to use different work stations for card production or would you prefer using a centralized system?
  • How many cards will you initially produce? How many in the following year, in 2 years…
  • What kind of growth do you expect in terms of employees and facilities?
